(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The society issued a statement yesterday, on February 27, slamming the racist act of the perpetrators who disrespected the holy Mosque by writing anti-Islamic graffiti on its walls.
The Muslim groups called for the punishment of the perpetrators and lashed out at the security forces’ silence over the crime. The sacrilege came after the attacking of the city’s church in which unknown people hung some broken crosses around the Mosque.
Based on the claims of the Mosque’s officials, some people who belong to French extremist groups are striving for promoting Islamophobia in the country as well as showing the image of Muslims as aggressive and violent.
